Sequencing
Sequencing means putting events in the right order — first, then, next and finally. We use sequencing in stories and instructions!
What You Need to Know
Sequencing means putting things in the correct order. In stories, events happen in a certain order — first this, then that, and finally this. In instructions (procedures), steps must be followed in order or the result will not work. We use time order words to show the sequence: first, then, next, after that, finally, last.
