Key Concept Diagram
To convert a fraction to a decimal, divide the numerator by the denominator: 3/4 = 0.75
To convert a terminating decimal to a fraction, use the place value as the denominator: 0.6 = 6/10 = 3/5
Recurring decimals have digits that repeat indefinitely, e.g. 1/3 = 0.333...
