Skip Counting

Skip counting means we jump over some numbers. It is faster than counting one by one!

Count by 2s

Jump 2 numbers each time. Like hopping on two feet!

2 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20

Count by 5s

Jump 5 numbers each time. Count your fingers!

5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45 50

Counting Backwards

We can also count backwards — from a big number down to a small number! Try it like a rocket launch countdown!

Counting back from 20:
